Terms of Service

Welcome to Blastjob. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of blastjob.com and all related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Blastjob ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Blastjob. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Blastjob is an automated job application platform that helps users apply to job openings more efficiently. Our Service includes:

• Automated job searching across multiple job boards and company career pages
• AI-powered CV and cover letter generation, tailored to each job description
• Job matching based on your profile and preferences
• Application tracking and management tools
• Recruiter outreach assistance (on paid plans)
• Interview preparation tools (on paid plans)

To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@blastjob.com of any unauthorized access
• Not create multiple accounts or share your account with others

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

When using Blastjob, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile, CV, and cover letters
• Only apply to jobs you are genuinely interested in and qualified for
• Review all auto-generated content before it is submitted on your behalf
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws
• Respect the terms of service of any third-party job boards we interact with
• Not use the Service for harassment, spam, or any illegal purpose
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
• Not circumvent any rate limits, security measures, or usage restrictions
• Not impersonate any other person or misrepresent your affiliation

Blastjob interacts with third-party platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, and other job boards. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Each platform has its own terms of service that may apply
• You are responsible for ensuring your use of our Service complies with those terms
• We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party job board
• Third parties may restrict, suspend, or block automated access at their discretion
• We cannot guarantee that applications will be received or reviewed by employers
• We are not responsible for any actions taken by third-party platforms

Our Service uses artificial intelligence (including third-party models such as OpenAI) to generate CVs, cover letters, and outreach messages. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is based on information you provide
• You should carefully review all generated content before submission or approval
• AI output may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected phrasing
• You are ultimately responsible for the content submitted in your applications
• You should not submit false or misleading information even if AI-generated

7.1 Plans

Blastjob offers a free Starter plan and paid subscription tiers (Pro and Managed). Current pricing is displayed on our pricing page.

7.2 Billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You authorise us to charge the payment method provided for recurring fees

7.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months
• The Managed plan includes a money-back guarantee as described at signup
• Refund requests can be sent to billing@blastjob.com

7.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription fees with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

The Service and all of its original content, features, branding, and functionality are owned by Blastjob and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile data, CVs, cover letters). By using the Service, you grant Blastjob a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, and process this content solely to provide and improve the Service.

Blastjob is a tool that assists with the job application process. We do not:

• Guarantee that you will receive interviews, offers, or employment
• Guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any job listings we surface
• Make any representations about salary, working conditions, or employer quality
• Act as an employment agency or recruiter on your behalf

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects will be corrected

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blastjob and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
• Any employer's decision not to hire, interview, or contact you
• Actions or omissions of third-party platforms, services, or employers

Our total aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blastjob and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including third-party platform terms
• Any false or misleading information you provide

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to us, other users, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@blastjob.com. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ends immediately
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will first be addressed through informal negotiation. Please contact us at legal@blastjob.com to initiate a dispute.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 60 days, it will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, rather than in court, except where prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class action proceedings.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Blastjob is legally established, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
