I built it because I wanted to change my life.
A letter from the founder. No buzzwords, no hockey stick — just the honest reason this thing exists.
I'll be honest with you. I didn't build BlastJob because I wanted to disrupt anything or change the world. I built it because I wanted to change my life.
I came to Ireland from Ukraine. I worked sales jobs to pay rent while studying. I wanted more — more money, better work, real career progress. So I started doing what most people do: applying to dozens of jobs every week, hoping something would land.
It didn't take long to realise the system is broken. You spend an hour on a careful application and it disappears into a black hole. You spend ten minutes on a rushed one and it gets the same result. Effort doesn't seem to matter. Volume seems to matter. But applying with volume andquality is impossible if you're already working full-time.
So I built BlastJob to fix that gap.
What it actually does
BlastJob helps you apply faster while making sure each application is doing the most work it can. It tailors your CV and cover letter to each role, finds the right keywords for the screening systems, and tracks where you've applied so you don't lose track.
The goal isn't to spam — it's to make every application count, at a speed that actually fits the rest of your life.
Who I am
I'm not a Stanford dropout. I'm not VC-backed. I'm someone who wanted a better life and got tired of the broken way job hunting works.
Why it costs €19
I had to pick between making BlastJob free and making it sustainable. Free tools either die quietly or sell your data. I didn't want either of those.
€19 is roughly two coffees a week — small enough that anyone serious about a job change can afford it, big enough that I can keep building it without taking ads or selling user data.
What I'm building toward
Eventually I want BlastJob to be the tool I wish I'd had two years ago. Right now it does the basics well. The roadmap depends on what users actually need, not what investors think is hot.
If something doesn't work, email me. I read every message.
